Acclaimed designer Naoto Fukasawa presents his latest experiment in form with Tuscany.
In creating the design, Fukasawa interpreted iconic views of the Italian landscape through the lens of his own aesthetic, fusing stylistic cues in a way that captures the best of both worlds: Italian and Japanese. The chaise longue shape comes from a nearly century-old tradition, dating back to 1929 when Le Corbusier launched the first design. The Tuscany embodies the idea of comfort with a structure expertly molded to the body's contours. The Augusto sofa, by Belgian designer Vincent Van Duysen, is an exploration of contrasts: where the past meets the present and technical innovation joins the expert craftsmanship of Molteni&C. The key to Augusto's timeless aesthetic is the balance between the soft, upholstered seats and the sophistication of its modern metal frame, creating a harmonious and unique design that blends seamlessly into a multitude of environments. To enhance Augusto's unique silhouette, an elegant piping runs along the cushions, defining their shape. When designing the Augusto sofa, Van Duysen started from the idea of total comfort. He carefully examined the way the body sinks into its bulky seat, reclines on the padded backrest, or simply rests on its elegant square armrests. Only once these factors were determined did he begin to form the silhouette, which incorporates a metal base that runs around the perimeter of the sofa, emphasizing its volume and making it look super light.

With a modernist design inspired by Mies Van Der Rohe's "Barcelona" chair that creates a sense of movement and lightness, the latest armchair from creative director Vincent Van Duysen enters the canon of iconic contemporary seating.
The key to Paula's timelessness lies in its carefully considered proportions. With a tilting structure and suspended cushions, the armchair is designed to create a synthesis between a soft, inviting seat and a solid, robust frame.
La forma de Paula está definida por un innovador sistema de correas de cuero en espiral que sujetan el asiento y el respaldo a la estructura metálica.
