A family of distinct yet complementary forms translates the luminous magic of oriental rice paper lanterns into the exquisite appearance of blown glass. The unique glasswork, with its irregular lines that indent the surface, is achieved through the industrialization of the traditional polishing process. The result is a soft and captivating decoration that creates an inimitable chiaroscuro effect and a soft, diffused light. The wall-mounted versions of Rituals are striking at first glance due to their strong presence. Made of powder-coated metal, their square and robust form contrasts with the soft, ethereal, and irregularly finished volume of the blown glass diffuser, like two complementary aspects—one technical and the other emotional—of a unique personality. Similar to the pedestal of a work of art, the structure showcases the precious blown glass in its entirety, 360°, highlighting the lamp's distinctive luminosity. Its inverted L-shape allows for various configurations, facing upwards or downwards. It supports the diffuser, available in two sizes, like a lantern, or it appears to float in the air. A version with two diffusers, one above and one below the wall mount, is also available upon request.
