Realizada en polietileno, material ligero pero resistente a los golpes y a los agentes atmosféricos, Outdoor Gregg se encuentra disponible en las versiones de soporte y de suspensión, en tres tamaños: medio, grande y extragrande, para integrarse en cualquier situación y para crear composiciones libres, jugando entre tamaños y alturas distintas. Múltiples las posibilidades, doble la emoción: de día con una forma orgánica y pura, de noche con una cálida luminosidad. El difusor está hecho de tiras de material compuesto modeladas manualmente sobre el molde, las cintas superpuestas crean la superficie trenzada que sucesivamente se pinta a mano. Los bordes inferiores y superiores cuentan con una vuelta de cinta más para completar el difusor. En el centro, una placa en PMMA transparente con incisiones en láser, captura y difunde la luz que proviene de los LED multi chip que se encuentran instalados en el perímetro de la estructura en aluminio que hace las veces de disipador.

Outdoor table lamp with direct downward light. Diffuser and post made of composite material on a liquid-painted fiberglass base. The diffuser is made of strips of composite material shaped by hand on a mold; the overlapping strips create the woven surface, which is then hand-painted. Foscarini and Marc Sadler's passion for researching new technologies has given rise to iconic projects like Twiggy, an arched post made of composite material on an enamelled fiberglass base. For outdoor use, the project was completely redesigned, both in terms of the lighting's technical aspects and the diffuser's aesthetics, which in the Grid outdoor version is interwoven. The reading and table versions stand out for their successful synthesis of simple form and distinctive personality: they share the same diffuser and post base, but the stem extends vertically.

The support platform, finished in dark wood with a distinctive material effect, is straight and coplanar with the outer edge, allowing rainwater to run off. Decorative on its own or in multiple compositions, Solar features a retractable base that allows it to be tilted to modify the lighting effect, while remaining perfectly stable. A completely new idea for creating outdoor light displays and pathways.
