The concept, as its name suggests, draws inspiration from the robust physique of sumo wrestlers and contrasts with the lightness of the base, inspired by the clogs they wear outside the ring. The wood chosen for the collection is ash, prized for its rich grain and porosity. Staining options range from very natural colors to more artificial ones like pink or yellow. A distinctive feature is the unique stitching that runs around the entire perimeter of the seat. Clara and Alex transcend the archetype of seating for public spaces by softening the forms.
