After studying how people used clocks, Nelson concluded that time could be read by the relative position of the hands, making numbers unnecessary. Furthermore, since most people used wristwatches, he surmised that wall clocks had become purely decorative elements in interiors. These ideas formed the basis of their first collection of 14 pieces, which included wall clocks and small table clocks with a completely new style and were introduced to the market in 1949. Although all models shared a common characteristic – the absence of numbers – the diversity of shapes, colors, materials and designs could not have been greater.

Rectilinear elements, chaise longues, angular sections, and partially backless end pieces, masterfully combined, create countless original compositions suitable for any situation, maintaining freshness, compositional freedom, soft lines, and original design in each. A wide selection of textiles and leathers, chosen from the Molteni&C collection, contribute to making Surf a unique project. Surf is also an elegant side table – with a marble base and a wooden top that has a small handle for moving it – useful for placing anything you need within easy reach when sitting comfortably on a sofa.

A collection of sideboards and TV units unique in their design, featuring slats on the front that conceal the internal structure and also serve as handles for the doors and drawers. The unit rests on a plinth, adjustable feet, or can be wall-mounted with optional hardware. The door elements include a height-adjustable shelf.

Two basic versions of the armchair are available: a lower one for a 65 cm high table and a taller one for a 73 cm high table.

The Sveva armchair's distinctive character is fully expressed through its elegant silhouette, which hints at its generous and inviting nature. A sinuous shell made of rigid structural polyurethane, then upholstered in leather, houses the soft seat and back cushions, filled with goose down. The swivel base is made of die-cast aluminum and is available in four- or five-spoke versions, the latter specifically designed to meet the needs of the hospitality industry. The available finishes for the base are: satin metal, chrome, burnished, black chrome, and champagne. Countless combinations can be created between the leather shell, available in nine colors, and the cushion upholstery, which can be made with all the fabrics and leathers from the exclusive Flexform collection. The Sveva armchair can be paired with the matching footstool.
