Table lamp with diffused light. The diffuser is made of five layers of mouth-blown, glossy, jacketed glass. The inner layer of glass, in a pale yellow "straw" hue, creates a warmer light and a more intense color. The "warm white" version is ivory when on and remains white when off. During the 1990s, Rodolfo Dordoni designed a collection of table, floor, and pendant lamps for Foscarini, featuring strikingly colored blown-glass diffusers and names that evoked natural elements: Fruits, Blossom, and Buds. Now, Buds is renewed once again, interpreting contemporary taste to achieve a refined richness and attention to materials. The star of the project, as always, is the blown glass, crafted by hand in five layers, immediately noticeable thanks to the diffuser's wider cut. With the new color range—cool brown, cool gray, bamboo green, and white, with a straw-like interior—Buds takes on a dual character: warm when the lamp is on and cool when it is off.

The transparent glass cone acts as the structure and contains and supports the bright white hand-blown glass globe that houses the LED light source. Diffused light accent lamp with integrated LED. The light body is made of mouth-blown glass that has been subsequently acid-etched. The central hole is cut with a high-pressure, fine water jet, allowing for a high level of precision without altering the glass temperature. The upper slot, where dried decorative branches can be placed (the use of liquids is prohibited), is made of opal borosilicate glass. The lighting component, consisting of a multi-chip LED board, is protected by an opal polycarbonate disc. It features a dimmer switch on the light gray power cord.

Internal diffuser in opal polycarbonate, injection-molded; external diffuser in translucent polycarbonate, injection-molded. In the large version and the small version with touch dimmer, the sensor is located at the end of the stem arm and allows for stepless adjustment of the light intensity; electronic transformer in the transparent cable. In the small version without dimmer, the on/off switch is located on the transparent cable.
