The heart of the project is the frame, which is used for each individual component. A harmonious, curvilinear shell, reminiscent of a cozy space, seamlessly embraces the seat and backrest. The shell, upholstered in fabric or leather, as are the seat cushions, offers exceptional comfort.

The Marteen sofa is a multifunctional seating and storage system that introduces harmony with perfectly balanced volumes, in an alternation of full and empty spaces. The endless possibilities of the Marteen sofa are revealed in the creation of versatile compositions, from the classic corner solution to the most modern island solutions, thanks to the combination of different elements, including seats and storage containers. Its designer, Vincent Van Duysen, explains: "Mateen is much more than the sum of its parts; it's modularity meeting dynamism. Composed of upholstered seating modules, this new range can be offered in endless configurations, from individual seats like poufs, to classic 2-seaters or islands with 360° seating that become the centerpiece of the living room."
