Furthermore, functional wooden elements, such as side tables and shelves connected to the base, can be incorporated in various finishes.   • Kettal Bitta collection armchair with aluminum frame and synthetic rope available in all Kettal colors. Bitta is characterized by a combination of aluminum frames, seats woven with polyester rope and comfortable cushions, teak wood, and stone for the tabletops—materials perfectly resistant to the elements. “The designer’s intention was to create a dense yet breathable weave reminiscent of the braided ropes used to moor boats to docks (hence the name Bitta, which means ‘mooring’ in Italian)—giving the pieces a sense of lightness while making them look like cozy nests in natural tones, perfect for relaxing.”
  • In 1950, Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel created an unusual bowl-shaped seat, essentially a basket suspended from a lightweight oak frame. Their design fused the seat and back into a cohesive, shell-like bowl, distinguished by its organic form and materials. The use of handcrafted materials and the meticulous skill in crafting the chair's rounded shape and clean lines exude a sense of comfort and luxury, offering a wide range of seating positions.
