During 1941 and 1942, the Ateliers Jean Prouvé designed and executed several interior design projects for the chemical company Solvay. This contract resulted in numerous designs, including a wooden table that exemplifies Prouvé's construction methods: its structural details demonstrate the interplay of forces and tensions, as was later the case with the EM Table, which differs from its predecessor in its metal legs. The solid woods and oil finish give the Solvay table a refined and simple look that compensates for the technical coldness of the design.

Jean Prouvé, who always considered himself an engineer, designed and manufactured his own product ideas. His unique work, ranging from letter openers to door and window fittings, from lamps and furniture to prefabricated houses and modular building systems, encompasses virtually everything that can be industrially produced.

Designer and engineer Jean Prouvé developed the EM Table in the 1950s for his "Maison Tropicale" project. Following the principles of the "aesthetics of necessity," even the smallest details of this table are determined by its structure. The angled legs are connected by a crossbar that makes the structural forces and stress flow evident, something usually only seen in engineering works.

Minimalism with a playful touch. The Mirthe collection brings together all the elements of typical Tribù outdoor furniture: timeless, clean lines and a fresh, modern look. This bar set makes every party a success. The legs are welded lengthwise, seamlessly, at a 90° angle and integrated into the tabletop. The rounded corners of the tabletop and chair seat create a soft, elegant look. The designer consciously chose aluminum: durable, lightweight, fully recyclable, low-maintenance, and ideal for outdoor use.

That nature is an unlimited source of inspiration for new designs is something Marc Merckx proves with his Hexagon tables. The designer drew inspiration from the Giant's Causeway, a rock formation in Northern Ireland that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The table's teak base alludes to the hexagonal basalt pillars of this wonder of the world. Furthermore, Merckx favors sophisticated proportions: hence, the honeycomb, with its perfect symmetry, was his second source of inspiration. The Hexagon tabletop is crafted from glazed lava stone with a crackled effect that highlights the stone's natural imperfections. The glaze coating makes the table resistant to water, heat, ice, UV rays, and stains. Hexagon is equally beautiful as a standalone piece or as part of a grouping.

The Vis à vis collection brings a new dimension to wooden outdoor furniture. Teak is designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga's favorite outdoor material because it is natural, smooth, and extremely durable. When he began designing the collection, he envisioned a space where one could better enjoy the outdoors and socialize with others. The result was an extra-wide sun lounger with an integrated table. If two sun loungers are placed side by side, with their headrests facing each other, they fit together perfectly, creating a fantastic seating area. The collection was expanded with a modular sofa and matching coffee tables. The coffee tables feature the same teak slats as the sofa's edges and can be used independently or attached to the sofa.

The Mood table is much more than an ordinary teak table. Thanks to the beautiful finish of its rounded corners and its slender legs, the table has a pleasing and understated appearance. For its outdoor furniture, Tribù selects only the finest quality wood. Only premium wood with a straight grain is considered. This wood is cultivated year-round in sustainably managed Indonesian plantations. The crops are locally controlled by the subsidiary Tribù Asia. The Mood lounge table is much more than an ordinary teak table.
