The choice of sophisticated materials provides a counterpoint to the pure and essential design. The bases reflect the design of the sofas and are made of metal in satin, chrome, burnished, black chrome, and champagne finishes. The tabletops are available in wood versions—American walnut or ash varnished in a wide range of refined tones—lacquered in an original color palette, or in precious marbles such as Calacatta Oro, Emperador, Negro Marquina, and Blanco Carrara.

The new range of extendable tables perfectly combines the aesthetics of Italian MDF with the functionality of an extendable product, thus meeting market demands. The system's flexibility is highlighted by the presence of one or two 50 cm top extensions that rest on the frame's sliding rails. Depending on the customer's needs, the table's nominal length can be increased from 50 to 100 cm to accommodate an unexpected guest or to better suit the surroundings. TOPS The laminated tabletops and extension tops in Fenix are integrated and internally reinforced with 8 mm thick aluminum sheets. The tables are available with one or two top extensions. STRUCTURE The legs and perimeter frame are made of extruded aluminum, available in an epoxy-coated version with a matte finish. Two levers on the rails beneath the cover allow for locking the insertion and extraction operations. The top of the extensions slides into a tray coated with epoxy powder paint and equipped with a scratch-resistant finish.

In 1947, American designer George Nelson was commissioned to create a collection of clocks. After studying how people used clocks, Nelson concluded that time could be read by the relative position of the hands, making numbers unnecessary. Furthermore, since most people used wristwatches, he surmised that wall clocks had become purely decorative elements in interiors. These ideas formed the basis of their first collection of 14 pieces, which included wall clocks and small table clocks with a completely new style and were introduced to the market in 1949. Although all models shared a common characteristic – the absence of numbers – the diversity of shapes, colors, materials and designs could not have been greater.
