Form is a seating system based on a metal platform to which various elements are attached. The main idea is to use the same cushion for both the backrest and the seat. The rectangular base, on which everything rests, connects different tubular pieces to support the backrest cushions. The seat cushions are then placed on this same base to complete the set. The exposed tubular support structure is available in two finishes: light and/or dark, to match the chosen fabric. The collection consists of numerous pieces that can be combined, allowing for the creation of large corner seating arrangements. Tubular iron frame painted with polyester. Riva 1920 products are made with solid wood from sustainably managed reforestation areas. Among the types of wood used are maple, cherry, oak, and walnut, but also reclaimed woods that Riva incorporates into its furniture production, reminding us that wood is a renewable but not inexhaustible resource: Kauri, the ancient wood of New Zealand; cedar; and the wood from briccole, the oak poles used in Venice as signals and tide indicators, which must be replaced periodically due to wear and tear.
