The Phoenix rug is entirely handmade using an innovative version of the chain stitch, giving it an attractive embroidered texture. The delicate, finely woven pattern is created with tie-dyed yarns, resulting in a randomly shifting color. Designed by Siamak Egharloo with an aesthetic reminiscent of drawing or engraving, this rug is the result of painstaking hand-embroidery. Seat cushions are made with a polyurethane foam insert, padded with fiber and washed and sterilized down. Back cushions are filled with polyester fiber and washed and sterilized down. Metal bases are available in a manganese-finish polyester powder coating with LDPE glides, or in solid oak bases in various finishes.
