The sofa is available in two versions: with an exposed base or with a skirt. The exposed base version offers a choice of four wooden legs or a metal frame. The collection also includes two armchair models in different sizes. The upholstery is fully removable. Seat, back, and side cushions are available in leather with removable covers. The wooden frame is covered in foam and fiber. Suspension is provided by interwoven elastic webbing with varying tensions. Seat cushions are made with a polyurethane foam insert, padded with fiber and washed and sterilized down. Back cushions are filled with polyester fiber and washed and sterilized down. Metal bases are available in a manganese-finish polyester powder coating with LDPE glides, or solid oak bases in various finishes.

Riva 1920 products are made with solid wood from sustainably managed reforestation areas. Among the types of wood used are maple, cherry, oak, and walnut, but also reclaimed woods that Riva incorporates into its furniture production, reminding us that wood is a renewable but not inexhaustible resource: Kauri, the ancient wood of New Zealand; cedar; and the wood from briccole, the oak poles used in Venice as signals and tide indicators, which must be replaced periodically due to wear and tear.
