Ferm Living is a Danish design house founded in Copenhagen by Trine Andersen, still its creative director today. At Oboe Muebles, a family-run design company established in 1987, you can order 32 Ferm Living pieces across furniture, lighting, textiles and accessories. Below you will find the current selection, a note on the brand's approach, and how to buy Ferm Living in Spain through our Málaga and Marbella showrooms.
Ferm Living: Danish design for everyday living
The name comes from an expression used by Trine Andersen's grandmother, ferm på fingrene, meaning capable hands. The brand began with a collection of ten wallpaper prints, of which only one could be produced in time for a Danish trade fair. Today its range spans accessories, wallpaper, textiles, furniture and lighting in a contemporary Scandinavian style. Rather than working with a single in-house designer, Ferm Living collaborates with external studios such as Herman Studio and Regular Company. Many textiles carry GOTS certification, guaranteeing at least 95% organic fibres, and wood in collections like Herman is FSC certified.
