Oboe is an official Porada distributor, and the Italian maker's solid-wood furniture is available through our showrooms in Marbella and Málaga. This page introduces Porada, its work in oak, ash and Canaletta walnut, and the pieces we carry: tables, beds, sofas and storage made in Cabiate. Below you will find the range held at Oboe and how to order it.
A short history of Porada
Porada was founded in 1968 by Luigi Allievi, continuing a chair production the family had begun in 1948. Its headquarters and production centre are in Cabiate, near Como, and the company is now led by Tiziano Allievi. Porada runs its own showrooms in Cabiate, Milan, London, Paris and New York, opening the London site in 2013. Each year it organises the Porada International Design Award with POLI.design and ADI, which reached its 14th edition in 2026. The workshop uses solid oak, ash, brushed ash, maple and Canaletta walnut, and has developed Rock, a porcelain stoneware used for table and bed tops, and the Kajal metallic finish shown on the Riga table.
